New to Southside? We Welcome You
Going to a new church for the first time can be a little stressful. We want to make you comfortable and most of all, we welcome you.
Southside is a very casual place. Our sanctuary is round so we don't have traditional pews. This also allows us to rearrange chairs to make any accommodations you need - wheelchair, scooter, walker? No problems. Our church is all one floor, so accessibility is easy.
Everyone is welcome to Southside and everyone is welcome at the communion table, where we celebrate communion every week.
Dress is usually casual, but some folks prefer to dress up. Please keep in mind we have a very minimal air conditioning for summer, so please feel free to wear shorts in hot weather!
